Keystone Oaks United Soccer

Travel Soccer

A natural extension to our In-House Program, Travel Soccer is an important part of KO United's Soccer Club.  The primary goal of KO United Travel Soccer is providing a fun soccer experience while developing well-rounded, complete soccer players.  The program provides interested players the opportunity to continue playing soccer after In-House and compete against teams of similar talent within PA West's South District (District 4).  Please Note: Players from the Keystone Oaks communities of Dormont, Castle Shannon and Green Tree make up the teams.  Players from external communities are permitted to participate if there is room on teams and there is a need for players. KO community players will be given priority for placement on teams.

Travel soccer costs $120 per season.  Multi-child discounts of $10 per additional sibling. (Example: 2 children will cost $220.) The registration fee includes home/away jerseys and shorts. The jerseys will be used for both the Fall & Spring playing seasons. The jerseys are ordered in the Fall. Registration is completed using the link found on the home page. Registrations are typically held in June and January.

A special bonus is offered to U10 travel players.  U10 players registering for travel are offered FREE participation in the In-House Program.

Travel teams typically practice twice a week during the season for approximately 1.5 hours per session.  A travel season consists of 7 or 8 games; with a guarantee of at least (6) games. The games are typically played on Sundays at noon or later although they can start before noon if needed. Games are played against other teams within South District 4 and travel to away games is typically 30 minutes with usually no more than an hour drive. Frequently the clubs involved are; Mt. Lebanon, Baldwin, Peters Township, Upper St. Clair, Brentwood, South Park, Washington County, Greene County, South Fayette, Steel Valley - to name a few.

Travel Divisions

KO United typically fields teams in the U10 through U18 age groups.  Most KO United travel teams play within the Division 6 (D6) or Division 5 (D5) level, with D5 being the more competitive of the two.  All D5 or D6 games are played against other teams within District 4.
